Are  techies  taking  over

â€‹"The landscape of Hollywood is indeed undergoing a significant transformation, driven by technological advancements and a push for more efficient and realistic production methods. While it's a complex interplay of factors, the emergence of advanced tech-savvy producers and studios, exemplified by figures like David McQueen and his '120 block digital city' at Merica Lidar Studios, is undeniably a major force to be reckond with in this evolution. Think of the intricate digital worlds brought to life in franchises like Batman's Gotham City, the expansive Marvel Universe, the prehistoric landscapes of Jurassic World: Rebirth (Universal Studios), and the fantastical realms of Middle-earth in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies, as well as Pandora from James Cameron's Avatar. These examples showcase the profound impact cinema worlds have on film productions. In David McQueen's case, the realism is superior because his city Neontropolis is built over the top of a real city with no plywood and fake plastic, enabling the creation of highly detailed and believable city that captivate audiences and push the boundaries of ultra realism.
